About me
My name is Jose Luis Lopez Pino and I have studied a MSc in Computer Science in the Universidad de Granada and nowadays I’m studiying Web System Development as exchange student in Glasgow Caledonian University. My main hobbies are to surfing the web and developing, I love web technologies and free software. I’m member of the Webmasters’ Association of Granada and I sometimes help the Free Software Office of the UGR. I have spent one year studying abroad in Scotland and I have an advanced level of English.

Proyects
At the moment, I have founded two free software projects:
- Visuse: is a visual metasearch engine. coordinated by J.J. Merelo , it’s free software and it got several awards:
- Finalist project of the University Free Software Competition of Granada.
- Best spread project of the University Free Software Competition of Granada.
- Finalist project of the National University Free Software Competition.
- Second best community project of the National Univerisity Free Software Competition.
- 90Manager: Free software online football manager.
- Second best project of the University Free Software Competition of Granada.
And I’m contributor of two other free software projects:
- pyFIA:
- pyFIA is a program for imagen analysis of stained cells by Feulgen`s reaction.
- This software was used in the paper ‘DNA Amount of X and B Chromosomes in the Grasshoppers Eyprepocnemis plorans and Locusta migratoria‘.
- GeoRemindMe: allows you to manage, rate and share geolocated suggestions on your favorite social networks.

I have given some presentations on control version, free software browsers, XHTML+CSS and other topics related to free software and web development. I have also attended several short and long time courses as XHTML+CSS office software programs, typing, Internet, Google App Engine, SEO, Dreamweaver, Scrum and agile software development, etc.

- Developing web sites and applications: HTML, XHTML, CSS, Django, PHP+MySQL, Java (Servlets+JSP), security, SEO, Rich Internet Applications, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery.
- Designing user interfaces: Java (Swing and AWT), C++ (Qt) and C(Xlib).
- UML, XML, JSON, sockets, GNU/Linux, JMF, Java2D, SQL (Oracle y MySQL), OpenGL, MATLAB, JDBC, R, parallel applications (MPI and OpenMP).
